Wish it was scarier/creepier, but fun little flick that knows what it is and Crowe was a blast.

 

Saint Maud was nuts. Morfydd Clark is incredible in it. Such a satisfyingly dreadful slow burn

 

And Starry Eyes! For the acting world

Deadstream is a blast if you're into found footage.

 

Of those I've only seen Deadstream and I hated it so I'm not much help haha

 

Spiral: The Book of Saw was great

 

Deadstream gets a little obnoxious at times but it's so much fun.

 

Deadstream for sure. Possession is pretty great too

 

Possession is an all timer. I didn't notice that was on the list.

 

Possession is the best on that list but Deadstream is really fun, they’re like different genres almost

 

Preaaaaach.

 

VHS 99 is the worst on this list but you really can't go wrong with any of these, just depends on what subgenre you're in the mood for

 

Watching Blood Sick Psychosis. SOV made last year in Philly. Hits the spot

 

Ended up doing Spiral. The melodramatics felt like Criminal Minds, but the traps were pretty rad. That ending scene fucking ripped though!

 

Holy shit, Lori Cardille (Day of the Dead) just shouted out Erie, Pa on the Last Drive-In!! My hometown and current residence! I had no idea she grew up here. Already working on getting her for next year's fest lmao

 

Possession is my favourite horror film ever with possibly my favourite acting performance in any movie.

About 30 min into Burnt Offerings and I can see why this has been regarded so highly. I’ve heard it influenced King in writing The Shining and I think Ti West had to have been thinking about this when he did House of the Devil

My toxic traits is thinking I could survive some of the saw traps when rly I'd just cry and die of a heart attack before his puzzle even got to me
