you mean the first of 7 presales lol…I wish the band all the luck in the world but I’ll tell you exactly what will happen…all presales will “sell out” leaving very limited or no tickets for the general on sale except for “platinum tickets” selling for 2x to 5x regular tickets…then the day before or day of the show magically more regularly priced tickets will appear

 

I'd normally agree but I think this MSG show will be a hot ticket.

 

I think people are underestimating how big boygenius is. They are really hot right now, especially with the younger generation.

 

Dude's got MS, is several years/decades sober and is absolutely doing as much as he can while he can, and you can tell with the energy of the shows. Mad respect to him. Saw their whisky a go go show last year that will be alive album in September, and it sounded great (grading on a scale, since Art's voice has never been that amazing live for various reasons).

Unearth has been announcing at their shows they have a fall headliner, so that should be announced soonish. That new album is amazing. Best since Oncoming Storm.

 

Ryan Key announced at Yellowcard’s show last night that they’re reuniting for good. So I’d expect more shows from them in the future

Saw them with Bleeding Through last Sunday. Great show. Noticed Ken wasn't playing guitar. Anyone know if he just wasn't playing this show/tour or is he no longer in the band?

 

I just learned that Boygenuis wasnt some bedroom synthpop music, made by a barely old enough to drink white dude. I honestly thought Boygenius was like a Roosevelt / Dayglow / Yotclub type band, not a female trio super group. (Obviously I had never listened to them as instantly that impression is dispelled, that's just what I thought the 'band' was).

Makes more sense about the large venues being talked about. Music isn't for me, but definitely not at all what I thought it was.

they had a major disagreement on direction of the band which is why it took so long for this album to get done, originally it was him taking a break, but he joined As I Lay Dying full time and decided to leave the band.

 

Started as “extended leave” in October, then confirmed completely gone in March. Buz wrote the entire new album.
