Somehow completely forgot The Visit was found footage lol. What a great, totally shameless, irony-free B-movie

 

I'd also say it's a summer movie

 

It takes place during winter!

The reveal gave me chills when I saw it in the theater.

 

Five Summer Themed Horror Movies to Stream This Week

 

I have had Joy Ride 1 & 2 sitting on my entertainment center for a while now. Guess it's time to get to those.

Psycho Beach Party also looks fun.

 

All animated last drive in tomorrow!

 

Zombeavers is fun

 

That should be pretty fun

 

Gotta be some combination of Perfect Blue, Mad God, The Wolf House, and The Spine of Night

 

I’ve been meaning to watch Mad God and Spine of Night, so I hope it’s at least one of those.

 

Still haven't watched the first nun.

 

It's definitely gonna be MAD GOD for 1 of them

 

I have almost watched The Nun so many times now, scrolling through Max

 

The Nun is not good at all

 

So annoying that The Conjuring 2 is the only one of those movies Max doesn't have

 

Lol, fucking insane and dumb as hell, but if anyone can pull it off, they can

 

I haven't seen any of those, are they camp or do they take themselves too seriously?

 

They're all over the place, but mostly work for whatever reason. The first two are more serious, Election Year is pure camp, and I'd say the most recent two are a good balance between the two.

They're not amazing movies, but they're more fun than they have any right being for a premise so dumb

 

As much as I love Malignant and M3gan, and Taissa Farmiga and Storm Reid, idk if that's enough to make me want to see The Nun 2. Second trailer was marginally better than the first, still looks like the movie is just a bunch of jump scares

 

That's how I feel about a lot of those Conjuring-verse films tbh
