Yo! I just wanted to say thanks for pointing out Skip and Loafer. I was in a bit of a rut on what to watch and I’ve been binging this because it’s so wholesome and endearing.

Anime Expo looks super crowded, glad I didn't go this year. I was on the fence until they said they sold out. More like oversold, holy shit. Definitely a safety hazard in the event of an emergency, and I bet they're taking even less covid precautions than last year.

 

The videos I saw were straight up horrifying

Summer is like historically bad and this one looks to be no different tbh.

that’s not to say there aren’t shows to watch it’s just they’re few and far between.

I admit my standards are probably pretty low, but I'm interested in more Masamune's Revenge, Horimiya, and Jobless Resurrection, and Tiny Senpai looks like a cute office comedy. And Yohane, of course. And doesn't new Jujutsu Kaisen start?

Guess I’m just super picky, which surprises me considering there’s some generic ass show (I forget the name. But it’s like a kid going to some superhero school or something) that I’m curious about.

I am interested in the zom 100, undead farce and the big kitty show too.

but I just feel the majority is so bad. There’s no like truly anticipated show like the spring seasons always have.

 

I liked the art of tiny senpai but the word of mouth from the first episode is that it’s boring af

 

Gonna sit down and watch an actual episode of anime for once: hells paradise

Hell's Paradise's animation is super disappointing. Even the best fights don't come close to something like JJK

Speaking of, both JJK s2 and Bleach TYBW cour 2 start this week

 

I honestly am not picky at all, so as long as it amuses me and lets me forget the real world for a bit, I'll probably give it at least an 8.

 

Haha. That’s totally fair. If you end up watching mini senpai and liking it, do tell me. I’ll give it a watch then. I liked the trailer but hearing about it kind of turned me away.


Watched 3 episodes of hells paradise so far. Really digging it. Most anime I’ve watched in months lol.

maybe on day I’ll give jjk a try but I’ve never felt really all that inclined.

 

It wasn't perfect and nowhere near MAPPA's best, but I thought the animation in Hells Paradise serviceable, I especially liked how they used flowers and color throughout, I even liked how they visualized tao and special abilities but some of the fights could've been better for sure. We're so spoiled these days with insanely well done animation in shows like Demon Slayer, JJK, AOT, and CSM, but I still think hp looked better than most other shows I've seen.
