I signed up for London to help @Platy get tickets and Dublin for @Nick in which I’d also join them, haha.

Getting tickets here was a nightmare. Tried for Atlanta, ended up getting Nashville through a friend and Detroit from another Chorus mod who couldn’t make it.

Has there been an FM 23 update?

Suddenly Saudi clubs are offering me £35m+ for all my bench players.

This sucks for Union. Their fans are going to have a tough job of replicating the atmosphere at their usual stadium.

Hard to remember the lat time there was this much of a squabble over a 16 year old

  6. This is likely a good signing for Villa. But I’m always iffy on players that are linked to all the big clubs and then 2 years go by before they’re finally sold to a mid team like Villa.

the jokes you’ve set yourself up for here with Tottenham finishing below Villa in the table really are too easy of a layup

fwiw in a timeline where Barca wasn’t financially hampered, they’d 100% have bought him for a ridiculous fee a few years ago. He’ll turn really good for Villa.

  10. Everyone said Spurs needed to get younger. Well….

If budget weren't an issue, I wonder if United might have been interested here as a Casemiro successor

    lmao we caved. Nothings changed.

  13. Bruno Mount Casemiro will be a good midfield. Steep price probably worth it.

Think we would need to sign another centre back for that. Alvarez isn’t very good on the ball and had Licha and Timber behind him under ETH.

Best part about it is that we’ll be moving to a 433 with Mount and Bruno in front of Case instead of 4231 with Eriksen and Case as 6s and Bruno in front of them.

Acceptance: Mount provides our midfield something that was desperately missing last season, good looks.

Mount and Havertz are both gonna be brilliant next season. Calling it now. The problem is Chelsea being a basket case club.

On the bright sight, better chances to get tickets. If they don't play on the same day as Bayern I might go to some games.

i hate stadiums that have the track built into them. It feels so far away for anyone sitting in those corner or endline seats. even for the touchline it adds a space that creates a greater sense of distance than it actually is.

The Men in Blazers pod episode on Ange was pretty good. Kinda what I had already read about him but having an Australian journalist on to provide a little context and analysis was great. Ange's path to Tottenham is pretty wild. Whether it be in Australia, Greece, Japan, or Scotland, he wins everywhere he goes and has the same philosophy and methods at every stop. The way his former players and this particular journalist speak about him, along with his unusual path to "the top", I can't wait to see how it all plays out with Spurs. He sounds like someone everyone can root for.
