I personally wanted Maddison more than Mount. Always surprised me there weren't more links with United for him. Slightly different players, but would offer better cover to Bruno for us.

    It's all hell.

Oh shit, Edu and the boys are going to have to start shifting a lot of players if this goes through.

Hahaha fair play to West Ham, they're trying to squeeze this deal for as much as possible, but this is insane money.

At this point, I have to question if he is worth it. That’s a fucking ton of money considering we aren’t a club owned by a nation.

Mad mad amount of money. Don’t think he’s worth it myself. Be interesting to see why he’d be going for if he stuck with Ireland.

For what it’s worth, I do think he improves Arsenal. But that net improvement I don’t think makes them a better team than they were last year. Xhaka (or Partey or both I guess?) out, Rice in doesn’t solve their squad issues. A midfield injury for example leaves a huge hole.

Apparently West Ham have rejected it due to payment terms. What the fuck lol. West Ham want it all paid inside 18 months. Both clubs should walk away that’s insane.

Oh yeah, oh yeah, everything is terrible.

they're just waiting for the Maguire+McT+cash offer ;)

His source is the most reliable West Ham news guy out there. Doesn’t sound like it’s an 18 month thing, but apparently they want it in three years and we have offered it in four

  15. Apparently the plan at CB is Lenglet + 2 more players….if we can move out a couple of our own. Lenglet is expected to cost less than 10m so I’m completely fine with him staying.

Is Kane worth more than 70m? In the market, yeah. Is Levy an idiot if he refuses to sell for 70m (if no other offers come in)? Absolutely. Letting him walk for free next summer would be as detrimental as some of the last few manager hires.

  18. Yeah, if Havertz is going for 75m then Levy should absolutely want 100m imo. I know different ages and all that but Kane is still one of the best players in the world.

The smart thing to do is to sell him. And I think it could happen. But Spurs will definitely be pushing the message that he isn’t for sale until someone pays the number Levy wants.

Levy is also probably thinking he can splash a little money in the window to make the team good enough for a cup trophy which will theoretically get Kane to stay. But that’s incredibly risky.

If kane has already agreed to personal terms then it’s basically inevitable, they will just keep denying it and squeeze as much as they can for the fee which is exactly what they should do

  21. Pretty sure he agreed to terms with City and Levy told them to kick rocks.

yeah agreeing personal terms means very little, particularly when it comes to dealing with someone like Levy

United agreed terms with Mount like a month ago and that deal is at a proper impasse

personal terms are always worked out first with a player and are done without any real say from the player’s current club so it’s just not really a massive indicator of anything
