Holmdel had virtually no tickets sold before the LN sale and sold a good amount of tickets that week. I think it will end up doing alright. A lot of dates are on Groupon currently too.

Silverstein picked probably the lamest support. Can't stand stray from the path. Tried so many times, and have already seen them live and meh. Can't stand the singers voice, and their lyrics are lame attempts at being socially conscious but lack any sort of depth or nuance. No wonder they've been on so many tours and had so many albums, and can't even crack 200k monthly plays on spotify.

Agreed. Definitely takes away from the disappointment of it not coming near me. Stray is bad and I have no idea how they are still around.

Don't think it was mentioned here, but Ben Rector dropped off the Matchbox Twenty tour and now Matt Nathanson is opening the whole run (except for Tampa due to a prior commitment). Ben didn't say why, but he claims there isn't any drama or anything.

I'm personally stoked to see Matt again.

My closest date on that Silverstein tour is 3 hours away during finals week

Disappointing they're going to Des Moines instead of Minneapolis, but it could be worse I suppose.

  15. I saw them a couple weeks ago here in Utah, and Matt was such a fun opener. That was my first time hearing/seeing him, and I left as a new fan!

Kerrang posted an article about it. Looks like its Rich Egan putting it on.

EDIT: I stand corrected! You're right. Jawbreaker is involved as per another article that states that the festival "was conceived and curated by the members of Jawbreaker and their team at West Bay Invitational."
