Do they still jump scare you if you do the guided tour? I'd much rather take a look behind the scenes and just focus on the set design, but idk if that's what that is. Really expensive, tho

edit: looks like the Unmasking the Horror tour is only available in Orlando, damn

Korea town is indeed great. Not surprisingly, lots of great restaurants.

If I have free time tomorrow I'm gonna try and explore more east side stuff. Maybe Echo and Los Feliz.

Unfortunately I have celiac so the burrito is a no go. I'll try what I can from there tho

  20. I’m heading to a show at Hollywood Bowl and will have about 5 hours to kill pre-show. Any tips on things to see/do/eat/drink in that vicinity?

Also, what’s the crowd like there? I know it’s seating but is it more fluid than a typical seated venue or will I be expected to be at my exact seat? I’m in the Super Seats section if that makes a difference.

Silver Lake, Little Armenia, and Los Feliz are all done. Feliz is probably my favorite after a couple visits

Would anyone have an idea of how much it costs to live out here without a car (ride share) vs with a car? I'm entertaining the idea of moving, but I'm really attached to NYC public transit.

  23. My wife doesn’t drive. I take her to work which is 7.5 miles over the canyon into Beverly Hills. Her rides via Lyft with a “pink” membership tend to be in the $22-$30 range. That’s $110-$150/week. I get gas every 4-5 days and filling up is around $75 (2014 ford flex). It’s paid off and insurance is about $150/month (including renters insurance)
If you’re commuting to and from somewhere off one of the light rail lines or bus lines, easy peasy. For her, though, it would take 1.5 hours to go from the valley to BH because there’s nothing that really commutes that particular direction.

I've been bussing everywhere and it's been easy and nice. But I'm also in a great area for that.
