I’ve gotten at least a triple gold star rare out of every tpc etb I’ve gotten lately but I’m probably just really lucky.

 

These new sets just aren’t doing it for me honestly… I kinda just got sucked into the hype of the late-S&S era sets honestly, right about the time Lost Origin dropped… my friends were in on it… then you hear people outside your immediate circle were in on it too, and it’s like “man, there’s something to this right now” lol

But yeah these new sets, I love the artwork, but idk nothing really looks or feels like a big pull, based off what I’ve seen. And I’m super happy with my collection as of Sept/Oct… so I’m basically just bowing out.

The more artwork the better imo, that’s why I like the new style. Loved the way they phased it in at the end of swsh, I still need to collect more of some of those sets.

I finally set up my great ball payment card. Here in Taiwan I can use it for the metro, my work gate, my apartment building, and when I buy items at most stores.

English 151 set just went on pre order. I was able to place an order for the Pokémon Center exclusive ETB before it sold out. First time I’ve ever managed to snag one of those.

The booster bundles are still up for pre-order, I believe.

 

It’ll come back in stock soon, hopefully I can catch them

There’s also going to be a ultra premium set which might be impossible to get

 

Mew is my favorite Pokémon so the premium set would be cool, but idk if it’s $120 cool

 

The covid scalpers will definitely return for that set, it’s gonna be awful

 

If it’s anything like the Charizard UPC, it’s going to be reprinted and will come down in price. Might just have to wait until November or December. The metal Mew card would be nice to own.

I’m glad the Mew and Mewtwo alt cards are promos because they will both be cheaper than other singles if I happen to not pull them.

The only box that has a chance of not being re-printed is the Pokémon Center ETB, as there are some other Pokémon Center ETB that have never been re-stocked.

Best Buy seems to be re-stocking pre-orders for the regular ETB and booster bundles. I’ll probably pick up binder + poster.

 

Idk, I could never get a premium celebrations box, even months after lol

 

Some boxes don’t restock, yeah. The Crown Zenith ETB hasn’t been re-stocked. The Charizard UPC could be found in stores and was around retail value for a while, so I’ll just wait and see what happens with the Mew UPC.

 

I saw one at target a month ago but than the pride shit happened, still hoping for a random restock. I’ve been seeing fusion strike and darkness blaze restocking out of nowhere.
