I like Prometheus more than most and is a top 3 Alien film for me.

 

Prometheus is great.

 

Predator was the best and they’ve never even gotten close to it since but Preys was good and Predators was fun

I’m also kind of an apologist for Predator 2

Alien and Aliens I have very similar takes on. those two are pretty much immaculate but everything else has kind of been middling to straight up awful

I dont appreciate Aliens as much as others do.

Comparatively with Alien, I should add.

Alien is the better movie but I re watch Aliens more because it's more fun.

 

Aliens is endlessly rewatchable (especially for a two and a half hour movie)

 

its crazy how dated Aliens sets designs are when Alien is probably a top 10 timeless looking film.

 

the aliens sets are so good though and one of the great things about the movie is how it involves you in them

all of these movies are good. resurrection is fighting upstream bc it is working from a joss whedon script and i still love the stupid gorgeous mess of it. haven’t seen the one thousand predator reboot movies yet but i swear i’ll watch prey soon

 

you might be the only person I’ve ever seen who ranked Predator 2 higher than the original. I respect it but if you care to delineate, why exactly do you think it’s the better film?

 

it is like reading the trashiest comic book possible but it is a movie

I've seen Requiem, The Predator, and Predators but couldn't tell you much about them other than I remember not liking them very much. Have not seen Prey yet

Alien Resurrection was the first one I saw and I was pretty young so a lot of those images have stick with me. The deformed Ripleys and the new half human alien ate terrifying.

I rewatched Predators before Prey came out, and honestly Predators is incredibly underrated.

 

The first four Alien films coming to Hulu 7/1

Prometheus is already on Hulu, so the only one that will be missing is Covenant.
