Production delays are part of the reason behind the total overhaul of the release plan. Disney recently paused filming on “Blade” and “Thunderbolts,” which led to a ripple effect on the rest of the interconnected Marvel Cinematic Universe.

 

Fine by me. Gives them time to make some firm recasting decisions.

 

Honestly didn’t expect them to announce that until SDCC, but it’s not shocking in the least. They definitely need to take more time on these movies even without the writer’s strike causing delays

That’s actually one of the best answers Harrison has given. It hasn’t been announced he’s Red Hulk so he can’t confirm it and people will believe that he doesn’t know Red Hulk based on how he always answers questions.

If Red Hulk does appear then there’s zero chance Ford is being serious. He has 2 movie deals and is spending 3/4 of a year filming them. The guy is going to know whatever pieces of information have been available in the script.

As fun as the meme is, he has never been oblivious to his roles before. He has just shown zero interest in fan lore* or knowledge that goes beyond his performance (Han vs Greedo edits for example).

*only applies to Star Wars, not Blade Runner or Indiana Jones.

 

But Red Hulk does go beyond his performance because I highly doubt he’ll be performing as Red Hulk in the slightest, so he genuinely might not care enough to know about the whole Red Hulk part of the movie

 

If his character transforms into Red Hulk in the script then it’s within his performance. That entire hypothesis of him not caring is made up of 1 exaggerated meme + 1 baseless assumption.

Not holding much water, I’m afraid. He takes his roles seriously, just nothing beyond that. He is going to know what his character goes through if it’s mentioned in a script. He hasn’t shown the opposite in any of his previous roles.

 

Nothing better than debates about the personal/professional habits of people none of us have ever met.

 

Finally, the best MCU movie comes home.

 

The Hulk solo movie distribution rights were scheduled to expire 15 years after the release of TIH, which is to say fifteen years ago today.

 

One of the few pre-Endgame MCU movies I've never seen, maybe I'll check it out for old time's sake

 

Only MCU movie I haven’t seen, so guess like I’ll watch for completion
