If you, or anyone else, is curious, it came from "Auctane Shipworks" via USPS and originated out of Chicago. If you use USPS Informed Delivery and have a sudden mystery package out for delivery, that could be it.

Did you get the standard? Or deluxe? Supposedly the deluxe hit some snag in production according to their last update?

Just the standard, single black LP.

looks like an Auctane Shipworks tracking label out of Chicago has shown up in my Informed Delivery, and i ordered the deluxe. expecting it to ship soon, hopefully.

So happy to get my copy of Revolving Doors this week. I somehow missed that the second disc of the deluxe edition would have just vocals and/or strings but what a wonderful surprise that was! Strings only versions of Copeland songs are a perfect addition to their already amazing catalog

So the deluxe version is shipping? I'm surprised the band hasn't provided some kind of update - still waiting on mine.

It looks that way, I was very surprised since I didn't even get a shipping notification

Heads up to anyone who ordered the RD vinyl - if you have the same luck that I did, it will ship with no notification, and will be sent to the address you placed the order for over a year ago.

Which in my case was the house I moved out of 11 months ago - which lead to a whole series of events that I am honestly surprised ended up with me actually getting the album.

All that to say, if yours is missing, and you moved in the 14 months since this was ordered, you might want to check with either Benchmark Merchandise or your old address to try to find it.

Or maybe you were much more diligent than I was and already updated your shipping address, but yeah.

Every new record from these guys feels like a victory lap that we almost didn’t get. Definitely in my top 5 favorite artists.

I love Revolving Doors for what it is. Would I be able to put it in an album ranking of their work? Probably not, but for me that wasn't the point. I remember Aaron saying that he regretted only writing as many string parts for YAMS as he did (in the DVD that came with the deluxe version of the album), and I feel like Revolving Doors was a way to flesh the songs out more in that way (and others). Are they better than the album versions I know and love? No (at least not to me), but I still love having them to hear when I'm in the mood for them. And getting to watch the Caverns show (livestreamed) was one of my favorite experiences ever, so that probably has something to do with it, too.

Revolving Doors is by no means bad, but it's just new versions of songs we've heard before, so there's not much you can do to innovative besides changing the instrumentation.

I’m really grateful for this band. I feel like copeland is the only band left carrying the torch from this genre of music. I’m glad Aaron and the band seem to have found a life/financial place where they can not only still make music, but also have the creative passion to continue to grow sonically.

With that said, I’m open to all recommendations from whatever we call this genre lol. Ambient Emotional Soft Indie Rock?
