Just finished watching the whole Starfield showcase. And I am sold even more than I thought I could be. I just really wish you could fly your ship in and out of the planets. Lol. But that’s being nitpicky as hell

 

the trailer for Phantom Liberty has me pumped!

 

^That's pretty much how I feel about Starfield. Wild that it exists as it does. If it even reaches 50% of its potential, it'll be a good game.

I'm okay with the 30fps cap. I might be the only one, but I can switch between 30fps and higher frame rates pretty easily. I guess it helps that I still have my old consoles hooked up and play games with worse frame rates regularly. They should just go old school Bioshock and add a frame rate cap toggle in the options menu though. No changes to graphics or anything, just allow the toggle especially considering VRR displays are becoming far more common.

I already knew it was running in real time and wasn't pre-rendered since it directly said in game footage at the bottom of the trailer but surprised to see it confirmed running on a Series X. ForzaTech might be magic.

Also I wasn't Interested in Microsoft Flight Sim before but now I want to do all the plane jobs

 

starting Ys VIII. never played any of these but heard about them. looks like this and I think IX are on ps plus. heard good things. digging the tone and aesthetic so far. kinda whimsical like tales games which I assume took inspo from this series as Ys predates it?

 

this sounds like wait until the expansion to dive into the universe since it will be reworked like crazy

 

Yeah I’ve been thinking of playing it finally but now it sounds like I should wait

 

this intro seems very similar to monster hunter world with a giant monster attacking your ship

 

As someone that played it when it first came out and had barely any issues, I cannot recommend playing it enough. Especially when the expansion comes out

I guess it’s good that my sleep schedule is completely out of whack because I’m starting up the FF16 demo at 4 in the morning

I like the fairytale/Shrek vibes I am getting from that Fable teaser. I was wondering how it was going to set itself apart from the Witchers, Eldin Rings, Elder Scrolls, ect.

 

Yeah they definitely picked an odd time to release it. I just looked and it’s 5pm in Japan, so even there it’s a random time haha

 

I’ve only finished the combat training but it feels great so far.

 

Making it a little farther in the second stage of Fights in Tight Spaces, had to drop it for bed tonight but I really like my build so far... Though I feel like I'm missing upgrades 8 times out of 10 because I don't have cash

Think I’m going to hold off on the FFXVI demo as tempting as it is.

 

Just finished the demo. I don’t know if I want to play the challenge mode though that places you further into the game to get a better sense of your combat abilities. I think I’m good just playing the opening.

I also immediately preordered it when I was done. Hopefully the next 2 weeks go by fast

 

I'll play the demo and i'm glad that progress carries over but I can see why people wouldn't.

I've not played it yet though, won't for like another 7 hours :(
