I always thought BMTH was widely regarded a meme band. Was surprised to see reviewers like Anthony Ronald McDonald have actually given a few of their albums good reviews.

Regardless, from someone who has basically never listened to them before, Amen is an absolute force. Wow.

 

I think Lost is one of my favorite songs they've done

 

Ah, always nice to see people still working with abusers like Uzi…

This track would lose nothing with cutting Uzi.

Not out yet. I'd have a hard time believing its not at least 9 tracks again. If its any less we'll have heard half of it already

 

Saw where they said most of the singles won’t be on there and this album will be heavier

 

Bring it on. Like the 1975, I trust their creative process and evolution. Wherever they go, they’re gonna write bangers.

 

I know one of the EPs is supposed to be heavier, but are we sure it's this one? I could swear I've read differently.

Are we assuming Die 4 U, Lost, Amen, and Strangers are all on this? If that’s the case, how many new songs do we even expect? 5 more to bring it to 9 like Survival Horror? And I can’t imagine they don’t release at least one more song between now and then.

 

Like Queens Of The Stone Age, no one knows.

 

They marketed the first one as an EP and they're marketing this one as an album, so I'd imagine there'll be more tracks this time around.

Yeah, this article toward the end makes it sound like this is going to be an actual album. But who knows?

 

yah never knew what to call it, 9 songs is a long EP or a short album? Atreyu's a deathgrip on yesterday is only 9 songs but its considered an album. that was the first time when i was younger that i saw a short album under 10 songs called an 'album'

 

Not gonna lie, that interview gave me some confidence that these lads know what they're doing.

 

Part 2/next gen has been delayed. No new release date announced, But the pre order for the cd and vinyl now says January 12th 2024
