Also Ronald is right Sex Drive rules, and I also forgot James Marsden was in it.

  2. Doesn’t he rip the garage door off when he sees that his car is gone or something? Haha I can’t really remember. But I do remember that Clark Duke was great.

Yeah no disrespect to other comfort tv type comedies, but Jury Duty is the hardest I have laughed at a tv comedy maybe since American Vandal.

  6. Reign of the Supermen - I guess this was all right. Rocky start and a very rushed Connor origin story but once Clark was back it got pretty good. Lois is such a fucking badass in this, tho. idk why they had Constantine's movie in between this and the previous Supes film, Death of Superman leads right into Reign of Supermen.

Hush is next, I guess I'll rewatch it. It's an average Bats story with some fun moments, I remember liking Selina (up until the end) but the villain not so much.

there's a cast commentary edition of Jury Duty that just came out last week where they do full commentary over the entire 8 episodes. probably gonna give it a shot tomorrow

  9. y'know, upon rewatch, I think I'm siding with Selina in the end this time around. I still think Riddler and Hush should've been kept separate identities. Ivy had some nice scenes in this. Harley is always fun, but it's unfortunate that she's still with the Joker at this point in the timeline. I don't think Tim is in this timeline, but one of Joker's lines, "who's Robin these days?" seems to suggest that he's already killed Jason. Babs is in this very briefly and it's the only time she has any spoken lines at all in the DCAMU. Grayson still got in some good screen time at least, while Damian is, fortunately, in only one short scene. The Clark and Lois scenes hit different after watching the previous two Supes films. It's not really one of my favorite Bats films in general, but it is my second-favorite Bats film within the DCAMU, which just goes to show that Bats films are generally better outside of this continuity.

Loving this trend of reality bending experimental comedy shows clearly influenced by Nathan Fielder. Paul T. Goldman being the other one.

I really enjoyed this. I liked the switch between real stuff (documents, voices, photos, etc.) and the movie.

Reality was good. I like the contained feel. Definitely can tell it was adapted from a play.

  15. Wonder Woman: Bloodlines - I loved this. I loved Diana in this. Finally she gets the spotlight, and this film really does highlight the best parts of her character. Easily one of the best entries in the DCAMU. I've been dying for a standalone WW film, of course it's the last in the series before Apokolips War.

  16. All right, here we go. Justice League: Dark - Apokolips War

I was not looking forward to this one. It's obviously super bleak, but there's juuuust enough comic relief that it isn't entirely a miserable experience. I've seen bits and pieces on tiktok so I knew roughly how it was gonna go: lots and lots of characters die, Lois fights Harley for some reason, Trigon fights Darkseid for some reason, then Barry resets the timeline--again. About a year ago, being the big dumb dumb I am, I looked up clips of how Kate and Babs die, and I've been dreading watching this ever since. They have no lines in this, though, so I put my feelings for them aside and focused on the characters this is really about. It gives some great moments to Raven, Lois, and Diana. Hell, I even finally liked Damian for once. As much as I find the DCAMU as a whole mostly just okay, I felt this was a good send-off to the timeline. I look forward to watching the films in the new continuity, especially since Kara is in the most recent one.
