Apparently the song Lourdiz is promoting is also produced and co-written by Dr. Luke, what an embarrassment.

Kim Petras continues to stay losing.

If you want to see a truly disappointing conversation, look in the Paramore thread about the band bringing out Lil Uzi Vert at their show

What a weird statement that basically says nothing.

"The publications of the last few days have caused anger and questions among the public and especially our fans. The allegations hit us all very hard and we take them extremely seriously.

We say to our fans: It is important to us that you feel comfortable and safe at our shows - in front of and behind the stage.

We condemn any kind of transgression and ask you: do not engage in public prejudice of any kind against those who have made allegations. They have a right to their point of view.

But we, the band, also have a right – namely not to be prejudiced either."

Sonny of hate5six proudly posting video of him kicking a girl for grabbing his camera and people hyping him up for it is not what I expected to see this morning.

I like Sunny a lot, but I don’t really know why he felt the need to kick her after after he had already pushed her away. Super corny to post the clip after the fact also, and that caption… yikes

I mean not what I would have done but people do have wild main character syndrome these days

    Things have changed.

I mean him thinking he's some grand hero for that is also "main character syndrome" and reeks of a giant ego.

Yeah I mean his caption was corny too, can definitely file this under “both sides were wrong”

A simple "don't touch my shit while I'm working" without using main character syndrome as a phrase or the 300 clip probably should've been his response.

I saw a tweet that said she ended up needing an ice pack after the kicks and while I think she was obviously wrong to touch his equipment, there is no reason why Sonny needed to use aggression to the point he injured someone’s face. That is not cool at all.

What’s funny is the hardcore weirdos response to it cheering it on.

I absolutely can’t stand 95% of the hardcore kids.

My favorite thing about some hardcore kids is how much better they are than me because they’re straight edge. I love how confidently they can take the moral high ground after crowd killing and sucker punching fellow crowd members. Truly something to behold.

I feel like hardcore shows have gotten way more violent in recent years because of its explosion in popularity, people are more online now than ever, and the tough guy mentality is more prevalent than ever. I don't know the genre extremely well but I feel like hardcore shows are becoming a less safe place for people (especially women) to go to if they wanna be up close or in the pit.

ETA: I have less knowledge about this than other folks on here so I could be way off here

Counterpoint from the (albeit limited) sample of shows I've been to recently: I've never seen more women throw down in the pit at shows, especially compared to when I started going to shows 15 years ago at this point, but that could just be regional differences in the scenes.
