All of Matty’s controversy stems from him just constantly putting his foot in his mouth. Just play the hits and shhhhhh

Since we're stuck on Matty...I never understood why so many people here gave Matty a pass around the Adam Powell story. He groomed and sexually assaulted multiple people and The 1975 refused to acknowledge it and Matty made a joke about it when a fan DM'd him asking him to address it.

 

Unrelated to the 1975, but the Ryan Adams & the Cardinals tour is selling extremely poorly.

All I know is last time I checked, his recent albums have extremely low stream numbers on Spotify

 

The Charlotte show last night was downgraded from a 5,000 cap shed to a 2,000 cap club (Skyla to The Fillmore). But I think these screenshots speak for themselves. Also his agent is delusional to think he’d fill these venues in the first place so I’d assume a lot of the dates are going to get downgraded to club shows.

These were just a few of the dates I clicked on. Won’t have the official raw numbers though until after the shows.

 

I knew he was struggling when I saw ads for NC dates pop up. He used to swear he was never coming back here.

 

There was once a day where I would have killed to see Ryan Adams & The Cardinals back at it again. Prior to his actions coming to light, I was a big RA fan.

That day is not today, nor any time in the future, and I love seeing his platform disappear.

 

I was curious, so I looked, The Cardinals are an entirely new lineup aside from the drummer anyway
