Yeah, very solid finale. Ended without many of the problems of the season. Very heartwarming.

loved seeing the couple from the Beard episode at the wedding

 

and also Beard wearing said pants from that episode lol

 

Also Jamie putting in more money in the box is a good callback to season 1 when he didn’t put money in it and put his gum in instead - good look at how he’s changed

 

I want to be mad about Rebecca’s final scene cause it was a little too rom-com for me but I’ll be damned if it didn’t make me smile in the moment

 

Also the opening scene had me questioning everything for awhile

 

Can’t even stop City winning in fucking fiction!

 

Perfect finale, loved it

I had my struggles with the first half of this season, but the second half of the season definitely made up for it. A wonderful finale. Personally think the series is over, and in a way, kind of hope it is because that really felt like a complete story. Would hate to see them force something just to do another season.

Could definitely see the spin-off being the Women’s team.

 

It’ll be fun to binge this entire season

Nate being back on the team didn't feel as climactic as it should have been, idk.

 

Also that Ted Lasso dance felt very Andy Reid inspired lol

Crying in my living room over a show about a sport I don’t even like.

 

They did as good of a job with Nate’s last episode to bring in the holdouts (read: me) as you could possibly ask for. Gave him his moments but didn’t make the entirety of the episode about him.

Just kidding. Really enjoyed it.

Wondering if the end (with Trents book) is a hint that it'll be back, but you know, different? Or if it's all wrapped up? (In my opinion, it was tied neatly with a bow and should be left alone).
