Lol this is the most random collab ever but I absolutely love it.

 

Imagine if Yellowcard recorded “Gifts & Curses (Yellowcard’s Version)” so they could have the rights to it and make it available to stream.

Just planting a seed that I hope grows into a tree, lol

 

Yellowcard at Slam Dunk was epic last night.

 

Same at North despite a tech issue I think with Ryan's guitar right at the start of the set.

 

What is it with Slam Dunk and tech difficulties for this band?

I thought the set was amazing. Band were electric and the crowd ate it up.

 

Really stoked to hear this EP on the Twitch stream tomorrow!

 

Apparently the stream has been pushed back 2 hours which is excellent news for me bc I prob would have missed a chunk for work lol

 

Now I can have a glass of whiskey while I watch it!

 

Definitely going to miss this cos' of work, but can't wait to jump into this thread afterwards and see the hype/reactions. With this and hopefully a new Blink song, week made.

starting a discography run-through at One for the Kids. In retrospect, listening to this album then the new song back to back is gonna be quite whiplash haha

 

I've never listened to a Yellowcard song before. What's the one I should start with?

Personally I think you're best served listening to "Way Away", the first song off the album "Ocean Avenue" first, and taking it from there. I recommend listening to that whole record when you can and then working forward in their catalog over time. It's quite a journey!

 

definitely don't start with anything pre-Ocean Avenue haha, that is a terrible idea except maybe Rough Draft.

 

Has anyone ever listened to a band's newest album first and then worked their way backwards?

 

Plenty of times. Gang Of Youths being the most recent that comes to mind. It really just depends how late you get to the party.

 

I frequently have started with the newest and then went to the first. So something like 4,1,2,3.

 

OFTK is not that bad. The band got better overtime, yes. But OFTK started it off and got a lot of people into them.
