Hershey was great! Only bummer is that it sounds like they had to adjust things for the stage (so no lifting Travis’ drum set in the air!). No complaints though, best they have sounded that I have seen them over the years!

Yeah they sounded great last night. They said it was the biggest show on their NA leg of the tour, and yeah we didn’t get the floating Travis drums because the stage couldn’t hold the weight

props to the girls in front of us that had these shirts:

Is there anywhere official to purchase any of the specific tour date shirts? Was at Hershey last night but the lines were way too long for merch and am instantly regretting not getting the Hershey shirt.

Was there an issue with the pyro last night? People were saying mark kept saying “turn off the fire” and it was like almost hitting Travis. I guess the wind blew it towards him?

idk I didn’t hear that but I did get some ptsd anxiety for Travis just watching how close those fireballs were to him tbh hah

The stage couldn’t hold the weight of his drum hover so they had pyro set up. Mark kept forgetting where the pyro was set up. At one point tom had to warn him before a song started to move because he was basically standing on the pyro, and mark joked about Tom saying his life. He still ended up being close to it and could feel the fire and heat while it was going

I'm always surprised Travis allows the pyro to be that close to his drum riser/him after everything he went through...

I’m always anti-pyro anyway. I don’t think it’s that cool to begin with so why risk seriously burning someone (like James Hetfield) who is trying to concentrate on performing and not thinking about where they aren’t allowed to stand.

I was worried when Travis was in the air and mark and tom would walk under his floating stage. Freaked me out.

Was in the pit last night and the pyro on the left and right of Travis was so bad due to the wind during Happy Holidays.

Mark messed up the second verse because the wind was blowing the flames at what looked like right on top of Travis. That’s when you could kinda catch a hot mic of him saying no more fire.

All of this was in the dark too because they play HH,YB “lights out” lol

The show last night was very awesome, minus the whole parking fiasco at the end.
I definitely heard the "no more fire" part from section d, which (minus the tall folks) had a pretty decent view for a short gal.

i'm just bummed that like nobody showed up for turnstile or white reaper's sets because those were AWESOME.

I was in section B! Yes that parking lot was a MESS. I found a short cut on the opposite end of the lot around the giant center. Still had a line but it moved much faster

Same thing when they came to Hershey their last reunion tour with P!ATD & FOB. Then again there was also a tornado and torrential rain...

That parking lot was an absolute nightmare. Took us 45 minutes just to get to our car and we couldn’t find it in the giant parking field because there are no landmarks. Tons of areas that were like single file to get through too! I was in section D2, great show!

30 mins to walk to the car and only 3 mins to get out on the highway. Calves of steel after last night
