At this point I think a public execution is the only thing that would give Roman true sexual gratification.

But yeah I don't really think there will be any actual killings. No clue at all what's gonna happen next week except that I will be thoroughly entertained and there's a good chance my watch will give me an elevated heart rate warning.

Hmm I really thought we’d be a lot closer to knowing where this was heading by the end of that episode. I think it’s clear that Roman is out, so as far as the “succession” it’s probably between Shiv and Kendall. I just don’t know how they’re going to resolve it in about an hour and a half. But maybe the won’t!

 

I agree but patterns show it is probably going to happen. I mean as far as big prestige shows go the only ones I can think of that didn't get prequels/spinoffs are Mad Men and The Wire.

And even The Wire you have to put an asterisk on because We Own This City was essentially a spiritual sequel, and Simon has been supposedly writing a quasi-prequel for over a decade.

 

haha i feel like we can go back in the thread each finale and see relatively similar comments “idk how they’re gonna land the plane if kendall is dead” etc etc. idk. i trust armstrong/mylod/etc. at this point.

My favourite part of that episode was Kendal to Hugo.

I’m still curious to know what the old guards angle is. Frank , Karl etc.

I’m probably over analysing it but Karl playing back Romans funeral speech just after Roman left seemed so strange.

 

karl doesn't give a fuck. he's assuming that he's cashing out soon and can be done with the kids.

 

Personally loved that episode. Roman and Tom both breaking down felt too real
