TNT was down on Youtube TV for everyone. I had to use different browsers to access the 10 minute free trial TNT provides in order to finish the game. It was ridiculous.

i’ve discussed this with my heat fan friends a few times and it isn’t really that weird if you look at the winners historically. coach of the year basically goes to the coach of the most improved team every year, unless you win like 60+ games lol. they should change the name or maybe just make it most improved team and award it to the coach, but there’s really no reason for Spo to have ever won it given how they give it out. the closest year he would have had a chance is probably 2016 but it ran against the warriors setting the league wins record lol. his teams are never bad enough to have the bounce back year or good enough to be a historic kind of thing you can’t ignore.

 

but yes if you think “he’s the best coach in the league he should have coach of the year” it’s “weird.” it just isn’t and hasn’t ever been mvp for coaches.
