we're still missing this shot from the season trailer of kendall choking roman. might have been cut, as there have been a few instances of that from past seasons' trailers, but i'll be interested to see if it's in the finale, presuming it won't be in the funeral episode.

I was never a Con Head before but he's grown on me a lot this season. This scene and his line delivery was hilarious.

Just watched and I am unsettled. The main plot of this ep felt like our dystopian near future and made me ill in the same way some of the best black mirror episodes have

I could easily see Shiv bumping into that body guard or whatever that helped cover up kendall's car accident at the funeral and her striking up a convo with him about the "nuclear option".

But the very fact that I am coming up with this on my own means it's unlikely to happen because it's too obvious for the writers of this show.

 

The guy that plays Karl (finance) on show somehow ended up on my tic tok feed asked how it will end, and he replied along lines of "whatever you think will happen, its not" haha

 

Greg is going to end up miserable and with nothing. He screwed himself out of inheritance from grandpa grump because he sold his soul to Uncle Fun

 

I hate myself and read the stupid "Dear Abby" knockoffs that show up in my Windows start menu and he was doing finance/business advice lmao he's getting around

Honestly, that episode stressed the shit out of me. Bad flashbacks.

 

That was a great episode but I don’t really see how one network (perhaps incorrectly) projecting a winner is such a massive deal? It made it seem like the siblings were literally picking the president themselves, which isn’t the case

 

It is the fuel to the bad faith argument, which is the fuel to the extremist.

Like, the 2020 election denial didn't just happen. It took trump being able to say something 1% believable to a group of people, and from there we had an insurrection. This is that 1% except it's more like 20%.

 

I think the implication is it would fuel something like January 6th.

The tame way this probably goes is it poison pills ATN and just pisses Mattson off and fuels his alliance with Shiv.

 

I don't know if this has been posted but here's a talk on what would actually happen.

Tl;dr: they most certainly know a fairly substantial amount of people who submitted ballots and would have lost their ballots and they probably would let people recast their ballots

Imo Menckyn sees this and is playing them

 

It fuels the right to say “we won” and go fucking nuclear when the outcome changes a month or two later

 

Especially if ATN continues to push the narrative that the republican candidate was the real winner down the road, much like Fox News did by feeding conspiracy theories
