The lowest Arsenal come was 8th, though. I'm interested to know if you think Spurs' job is a bigger one than Emery/Arteta had? Arsenal had to replace a constitutional "hero" in Wenger.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Arsenal had a lot of talented younger players which has helped them tremendously. Spurs academy hasn’t looked good, and we don’t really have any game changing young players. But we also continue to think we’re a win now team. It’s weird.

Weirdly, your U21’s got relegated this year, which is crazy

I think the jobs are very similar. As mentioned, we had great youth players in Saka, Martinelli, and ESR, which helped.

But we also did it gradually, over 4/5 windows. If you did that in 2/3, historically, you get a total mess.

Seriously, though, I doubt we'll be the team to derail City. We'll be lucky to get more than 20% possession.

Can't gripe about goals like that.

Dude is just ever present and consistent, year after year. Lovely, lovely fucking goal. The leg dexterity to make that happen is insane.

Maybe the real trophies were the friends we made along the way.

Brutal. Everton had stymied City really well for the first 35.

Just saw that it's Gundo's 300th appearance for us, what a great goal to to put a cherry on that.

Peak Bergkamp-level brilliance, that first goal. Going to be thinking about that one for a while.

Didn't Gundo starting scoring goals like crazy at the end of the season when we were fighting Liverpool for the title? He enters a different form at the end of the year.

I need Bernardo and Grealish to not sub on so that all the points on my bench in FPL get substituted in. Ffs this is brutal.

Like four years ago it felt Gundo might’ve been on the outs and he maybe wasn’t going to work out in the Prem but then he stepped up massively and has become an integral and key part of that team. Not sure if that’s how it felt like for City fans but as a United fan it seemed like that was the sentiment.

He got healthy, like really healthy. Credit to him and the medical staff because there was a period I thought he was done at the top tier of football.

    Title-winning performance from Gündoğan.

I thought he had injury troubles but looked at his yearly appearances and he’s averaged like 30-32 appearances in the Prem every year which isn’t too bad. Maybe more of those were of the bench earlier on than I thought. Either way, a good story for a player I loved at Dortmund and wanted desperately at United.

He had that serious knee injury in '17 and then since then I do not think he has been seriously injured. He took off like a rocket after that, his appearances and stats just jump.
