Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Soul Glo and Hot Milk overlap by 5 minutes so unless the schedules wrong, Boot & Thimble will not be......... adjacent ...... to each other (sorry sorry I had to)

 

It does seem kinda weird that two stages don’t overlap at all aside from a whopping 5 minutes if they aren’t going to be side by side though lol

I see a ton of people in the adjacent Fb groups talking about get there early and helping each other camp out all day for paramore ‍ that’s ten hours, not that hard to show up a few hours before and work your way up there.

 

I can't think of anything less fun then standing in the same place for ten hours with no access to a bathroom or food or the ability to sit etc

 

I’ve never really understood the desire for barrier and I don’t think I ever will

I think the Sould Glo vs Hot Milk 5 minute overlap might be a mistake, as they can push Soul Glo's set 5 minutes and the problem woud be fixed.

 

Hot Milk and Waterparks is the only conflict I see for me, which is unfortunate as out of all the bands I want to see the most those are the two I have never seen before

I really hate that they had to do this memorial day weekend. I live about an hour north of AC so I didn't even bother looking to get a hotel I'm just going to be driving down each day. I'm sure the traffic will be lovely

Such an amazing deal, but this being on memorial day weekend and hotels costing a fortune, it's still not really doable for me. It's a shame they picked that weekend, any other date and I'm sure this would've been an instant sell out.

I live in Manhattan, but I’m considering renting a car and driving over for Sunday. If I don’t have a hotel reservation is it gonna be a pain in the ass finding a place to park?
And is the idea of driving there and back in the same day way too ambitious? I’m guessing I might be absolutely wiped out being in the sun all day.

 

I can’t really help you with your questions given I’m coming from out of country, but it remains to be seen how warm/sunny it’s actually going to be. Could very well end up being like 68 and overcast haha

 

Ah for a beach concert that actually sounds perfect. Being in a crowd of 30,000 with zero shade, any hotter than 70 would be torture

I was just going to try and park in one of the casino's parking lots, you don't have to stay in the hotel to park there for all they know you're just going to the casino. But I don't know if those lots will get full really fast.

 

Yeah warped tour in 2019 on the beach was rough. It was at the end of June and was like 90+ degrees both days. The first day a thunderstorm caused it to shut down for a few hours and honestly that break was so refreshing

 

I would not try to drive back the same day. Blink will end at 11, them by the time you get to your car it's 1130 or later, two hour drive back when your wiped, seems like a bad idea.

 

Find a Holiday Inn Express or something decent half way to home.

 

There are also tons of spot hero lots in ac, you can just reserve a space somewhere. I doubt we get close to 30k with the way it’s selling right now.

 

If I still haven't gotten my stubhub ticket that I (embarassingly) bought when the tickets first went on sale should I buy the single day tickets this weekend to make sure I can go? Idk I'm getting a bit worried that the stubhub tix arent legit

 

You can call stub hub and they will get you equivalent tickets. When did the buyer say they'd deliver the tickets?

 

$95 for this is an amazing price! I would be pissed if I pay full price for it tho. (I forgot it was $360 for a 2 day ticket)

 

The fact that I willingly paid full price does not make me angry that people will go for less than I paid. It was a good deal then as well imo.

I might just splurge and book the Tropicana for the night, priced at $270 right now. Otherwise plenty of budget hotels nearby for $100.

That’s not a bad deal for the Tropicana on a weekend. Good food options there as well. We’d be hitting this up but my parents are flying into Philly at 10:30 on Saturday night. Bad timing. I’d have to miss Blink if I went and then hopped to the airport.
