Another great episode, felt like a finale. It wasn’t though right?

 

There should be either 9 or 10 eps this season. Wikipedia only shows 9 titled eps for S3 but both previous seasons were 10 episodes.

 

Lol what an incredible episode. The Anne Frank scene might just end up being the best scene on TV this year.

This show's operating on another level and man, this+Barry+Succession+Ted Lasso all being incredible makes this a really really awesome time.


Also very strange how much this episode felt like a season finale lol

I was gonna say the same thing. I hope they acknowledge next week that everyone would fucking HATE him after this stunt, like he would literally never live this down for the rest of his career. This show seems self-aware enough to do that though

I wonder how many managers like Mike there are in the actual industry that look purely at numbers and not the perception that certain things would give the artist in the public eye

 

To be fair I think Mike saw this as a way to make back all the money they owe and avoid being sued before he got out of managing. he probably asumed lil dicky is finished anyway

 

Yeah it's definitely a bit of both, looking at numbers and followers etc, not also trying to cover their debt from the cancelled tour

 

Every time I watch an episode of this show and see Ben Sinclair pop up as the director at the end I go “Yupp, that makes sense”.

 

Man, I fucking love this show.

 

I don’t wanna call this week a bust, but it’s certainly the first of the season that did pretty much nothing for me. Especially after the insanity of last week

 

Nope, give me all the Dave and Robyn. And Mike's stuff was hilarious too.

Yeah adorable episode. Halfway through I couldn't stop wondering why the hell this wonderful woman liked him so much but they did a good enough job justifying it I think

I hope they don't go the route of him fucking it up but I feel like that's inevitable

 

Prob the weakest episode for me. Few laughs, but overall not the best. Could be because I have zero interest in any of the cameos this week.

 

I enjoyed seeing Travis, but weak episode. Love Gata though

 

He and Jack Harlow's rivalry was funny but yeah not my favorite of the season. Really hope they're not going with him blowing it with Robyn this early

never in my life thought I’d be saying that

 

Finally caught up on the last two episodes. The Robyn stuff in episode 9 was very good. Good on the show for talking about things that no other shows know how to do (women not being achievements, mistreating people in the pursuit of perfection, etc.)
