I picked up RE Village and the DLC, since it’s the last day it’s on sale. Hopefully I finish FFVI soon so I can get to that and RE7…

 

RE7 is so good

 

Not that this matters much in the grand scheme of things, but DQXI has the best English localization of any JRPG I've ever played. Both in its writing and voice acting. It holds up against the best western games have to offer.

 

I have that game downloaded since it went on game pass and I’ll never play it because I’m bad at games

we finally got that update

 

RE7 and 8 are so good. 7 is my favorite of the two, and possibly the scaredest I've been playing the series. 8 falls off a little after Lady Dimitrescu but still has its moments, and is much less claustrophobic than 7.

 

7 is definitely scary af. 8 definitely falls off about after Lady D BUT that one house with the dolls is a highlight.

 

Lady D is overrated

 

All of 8 is great. It’s not a resident evil game if it doesn’t go absolutely bonkers off the rails near the end.

 

Good to hear. The more bonkers the better.

 

I already want to play RE4 over again but I’ll give it a break.. perfect time to snap into RE7.

that one house is definitely a highlight.

So maybe what I should've said was that it drags a bit in the middle. Like, just one particular area that takes too long. Everything else is great.

Had barely any health left in Survivor when I got to the Rayvis cutscene on Lecrehulk. I was about to be so pissed if I died because I had no meditation point to heal but luckily the game respawns after the cutscene with full health if you die lol

 

It got taken off a while ago

 

I find myself opting not to use a mount in dqxi I prefer exploring these lands on foot

 

shit so it probably just never left my Xbox I should try it and get it deleted lmao
