I’m holding out for an anniversary pressing of blink. I mean they have to right?!

I'm know I'm biased because Boys Like Girls is one of my purest nostalgic classics, but I'm trying to remember if I've ever seen this ranking before. I like Love Drunk and will be ordering a copy, but it's probably my least favorite Boys Like Girls/The Night Game record.

Blink's Untitled has been on my must have list for a long time. But I'd kinda wanna know more about this pressing first. Is it just standard black? Are we expecting a 20 year repress soon?

I wish FOB would just announce the TTTYG repress already while I can pay attention.

I’d at least rather have one of the SRC pressings that has Not Now tacked on the end. Plus I hear they sound phenomenal.

I got into an argument about Love Drunk on Twitter a month or so ago. To me it’s so clearly the best of the BLG albums. Just an absolute master class in how to write hooks. Should have catapulted them into superstardom, and I’m still a little confused why it didn’t. And then Crazy World just blew all their momentum by taking forever to come out and featuring a truly bizarre pivot to country-pop.

Didn't know that country album existed until now. It's...interesting.

There are a few really good songs on Crazy World, but on the whole, it definitely felt like that band going out with a whimper.

He’s co-written so many country/pop songs since. Big in the Nashville scene.

  15. I do think the "emo cowboys" tagline on recent merch is pretty funny.

Martin is definitely one of those guys whose names I'm always happy to see in the liner notes. He's written so many propulsive, infectious songs for such a wide variety of artists. Particularly love Avril's "17," which bears so many of his fingerprints that I knew it was him before I even checked the songwriting credits.

Was someone posting here recently about bluetooth speakers they use for playing records? Need to overhaul my setup because my existing studio monitors just don't reach into the areas of the apartment that i need to without pissing off the whole building.

finally got a legit turntable setup (TEAC TN-100), had been using a Crosley all-in-one for wayyy too long, and didn’t want to ruin any records using it, so I’ve barely listened to my records over the last few years.

    IMG_2755.jpeg

I’ve actually had this turntable for probably two years, and the speaker & stereo setup for over 5, just never had room to get it all set up. both were gifted by previous roommates when they moved out, the turntable supposedly needed some sort of fix to work, so I never tried it until today. turns out it works just fine and was just on the wrong output setting :crylaugh:.

looking forward to listening wayyy more, not looking forward to spending more $$$ on records again though.

Ok so figured out people were talking about the Sonos system previously - does anyone know if it is possible to be able to set up the system with a record player that doesn't have bluetooth capability? Either having a line-in on one speaker and sending bluetooth to a second speaker, coordinating everything with one main receiver, etc

  25. Listen to your turntable on Sonos

    Pretty sure it’s doable.
