I'm planning a bachelorette and bridal shower parties (two separate functions) and had lots of amazon stuff in my cart for themed decor and supplies but was able to find many comparable items at the dollar store! Saved a lot of money which is a huge relief cause I was getting a lil overwhelmed at the expense

 

Just spent the whole day working on the house and got both of the kids’ rooms painted among other things. Also found out that the outlets in the garage don’t work? But not a huge deal overall. Excited to be moved in before the summer

 

We spent all weekend moving stuff into our house too. Had to take doors off of the fridge to get it into the kitchen, then we couldn’t get them back on, and I was exhausted, so gave up. Figured it out today though!

 

We are lucky enough to have almost a month to get the house ready before we move in. It’s appreciated because the house was the textbook definition of a “fixer” lol

 

Ours is basically move-in ready. Had to change some lightbulbs, there’s a dumpy shed out back and some junk in the yard from when the house was remodeled, but mostly good to go. Our lease at our apartment isn’t up for 3 more weeks but aiming to be totally moved in next Saturday!

 

Listening to an album for the first time in ten years and still knowing every word.
