Another good month of listening. Here are all the new albums I listened to in April:

Standouts are in bold. Enforced for sure makes the top 5 for the year, maybe top 3. Predatory Void is my second favorite of the month. This brings me to 79 new albums listened to on the year.

Enforced really have the Ride Riff down to a science

 

Despite some of the clear issues with lyrics that haven't aged particularly well, this still holds up based on the listen I gave it today.

I only have one new album to bring to the Thrash Table this week. German black thrashers Lucifuge released their 5th album last week. I'll admit this vocal style isn't really for me, but fans of Midnight and Venom will love it. Plus the riffs go hard.

Next is a one minute banger from Mindforce, a crossover/thrash band from NY. If you miss Power Trip, this might be a fun one for you, but it leans way more into the hardcore angle:

And then another quick one from Gama Bomb, taken from their Citizen Brain (lol) album. These guys are way closer to the Municipal Waste brand of thrash, so expect more fun:

 

Happy Krallice, Enforcer, Haunt, Nightmarer, etc release day to all those that celebrate.

 

Hope the new Enforcer is good. The first single they released ripped but the last one was too close to the arena rock power ballad-y direction their last album went in.

 

Metalcore for hardcore kids

 

Have not enjoyed a deathcore release in a very long time, but Psycho-Frame just did it for me I think.
