Definitely hear the Used and The Kill.

This is VERY good. But I hope not every song is about dying. They’re 2/2 this cycle with this and Die4U which I would still put just a cut above this because it’s so massive live.

Great song, cool that they keep trying new sounds for them with every release. If nothing else they are creatively still really on it.

 

Ultimately very “clunky” but some cool ideas in there. Especially the hyper pop vocals in the breakdown

 

The chorus soars for me and kinda reminds me of MCR a little in a weird way? Idk yeah, I dig it.

 

Agreed. Verses feel like Oli is sandwiching words in regardless of phrasing.

I'm sure some fan will say its intended because of the subject matter but it is absolutely clunky.

That being said, the rest of it is pretty damn great.

 

Chorus is solid but I feel like I’ve heard it before? Not sure about some of the other elements going off.

 

New song is awesome. Hoping the next ep/album is in the same vein.

 

It's very reminiscent of MGK/Travis Barker-led recent wave of pop-punk. The delivery in the chorus reminds me of this singer Travis has collabed with, especially this song.

That’s The Spirit is an album I didn’t like at initial release, but now it’s the one album from them I spin the most.

 

Haven't listened to this yet, but I'm kind of worried because Evangelion pronounced correctly does not rhyme with Ketamine at all, so... Let's see.

EDIT: not correct, but not wrong in the way I expected. I hear MCR in the chorus too.

This is some amazing MCR cosplay crossed with Kingslayer and I truly mean that as a compliment. It’s gonna WAIL live.

Oli referred to PH2 as "future emo" in his IG post last night. Couldn't have coined a better fake genre name myself.

 

I'm down for some My Chem influence for sure.

 

This song is a ton of fun. This band really is great at trying so many new sounds but not really losing themselves.
