Had the homie over and jammed Nas’ Illmatic, Touché Amoré’s Lament, and Starflyer 59’s Portuguese Blues (RIP Richard Swift). Up next In Rainbows. 08D371F9-BE86-494F-821C-A3E3C2B96118.jpeg

  2. For a second I thought that was a continuation in unbelievably poor taste of the anti Weezer bit some people do around here

  3. Anyway I don’t own Pinkerton so thanks to that person lol

I’m going to Phoenix, Arizona for the first time next week - can anyone recommend any record stores that would be worth checking out whilst I’m there? Thanks!

I’d be down to trade the Touche Amore Lament book and record for a rare-ish copy of the same album. Anyone interested let me know

Seconded Zia. Used to go all the time when I lived there.

    Stinkweeds is cool too.

Zia and Stinkweeds are tops, but The In Groove is underrated for sure. Double Nickels Collective has a lot of cool stuff too, which is actually very close to a Zia location if you wanna knock out two birds with one stone

FYI Zia’s “in stock” indicator on their site is very reliable for non-used items, and it’ll tell you which location the thing you’re looking for is at. So if there’s anything specific you’re searching for, that may sway your decision about which location to go to. But you honestly probably won’t walk away empty handed from any of them

    Grabbed Lydia red OBI variant.

Story of the Year "The Black Swan" is up if anyone forgot.

Also if anyone is into Frodus, there's a repress of their criminally underrated final album "And We Washed Our Weapons In the Sea" up on their Bandcamp (it's Bandcamp Friday as well!)

    Merch from Frodus

Any classic rock fans in the house? My local record store obtained a signed Queen - Night at the Opera LP that includes Freddie Mercury!
