They absolutely crushed.

Tom sounded great. California songs fit in perfectly in the set; Cynical was a massive highlight for me. And my 6 year old daughter lost her mind at the last 4 songs (Age, Date, Small, Dammit) and sang along to every word.

I just wish I had made it in time for that god damn poster!

Gonna remember this one a while.

This setlist is fucking PERFECT, they had better not drop anything from it in the next few weeks

Holy shit I am more hyped for this show than I have been for one in a loooong time

And Tom agreeing to play Skiba songs and actually killing it just convinces me more than ever that he really is back and committed for the long run now

Wow. Had no idea they would be doing Matt blink songs.

 

It'll never not be funny that Mark said they would play songs from all eras, then this fucking website spent 6 months debating if they'll play songs from all eras, then.... WOW they played songs from all eras

 

Can someone who was there explain the staging?

Based on clips it looks like there were moments where Mark was playing on Tom's left instead of right, and Travis had his back to them/was sideways, etc.

EDIT: Apparently Mark just moved his mic stand over for Cynical and that's it. Did Travis' drum riser rotate or anything?

 

Whew better than Coachella even. He yells out Mine instead of 'it was Mooinnneee'

Mark moved his mic stand to stage left for Cynical and Don't Leave Me, and moved his mic stand to the stage right corner for Adam's Song

 

Aaaaahhh BTD and Cynical were amazing!!! What a time to be alive

 

Incredible show all around. Filmed a lot of full songs and some clips as well. Will post when I get home in 2-3 hours!

 

How was the banter tonight?

 

Tom sounds good on the Matt era songs and recreates the latter's shouty parts well. Makes me want to hear him on Darkside or On Some Emo Shit as well.
