I paid way too much, and I won’t believe it until it’s in my hands, but I think I have a copy of the RSD 1975 release finally coming. I’m just a sucker for orchestral backings

I walked in to Newbury Comics and they had like 15-20 on display for sale. It was the weekend after RSD. Could have bought one easy, but chose not to.

 

Mine has been an hour away since Sunday afternoon. It says delivers May 4th. I don’t know why. I should’ve gotten it yesterday.

 

my top 3:

metallica: s&m2 deluxe edition from band site, half and half. best friend and i were at night one of the show and pledged to ‘buy each other’ a bundle.

thrice: the alchemy index, 2021 pressing. got into vinyl that year and this was atop the wish list, so when the third repress was announced and bought before it sold out, my mind was blown.

it dies today: the caitiff choir, revolver pressing, ruby edition ONE OF ONE. hesitated to but this as i just started a new job and hadnmt gotten paid yet. bought one of the last 30 available copies and a few days later, opened the silly nft to reveal i got one of the 3 super limited variants of which only one of each exist. it’s being pressed and shipped next month.

honorable mentions:

sum 41: chuck, 2023 RSD canadia green press. probs in my top five want list due to the previous pressings that exist. such a rollercoaster weekend just to buy it. should be here this week, to which i will play throughout the weekend.

limp bizkit: chocolate starfish… starfish pressing from enjoy the ride. what else can i say other than classic teen soundtrack and having the more sought after variant.

metallica: 72 seasons on fan club yellow splatter. still sealed, likely goin to a bigger fan soon for a solid price.
