Flash forward has to be a vision unless somebody outside the legal medical field delivered a baby that belongs to a known accomplice of an escaped convict.

Also don’t know that you can raise a child on a diet of alcohol and donuts but I’m not actually a dad so can’t say for sure.

Barry was already talking about cutting a deal, so I just imagine that comes through.

    I think it's real

I do not know how anyone will be able to top Anthony Carrigan for the best supporting actor in a comedy series statue after this episode.

I think it's real. I read a review before the season started that mentioned a twist half way through the season that all viewers may not be on board with.

That deal is definitely off the table now. Or would be irl. He would be deemed too high of a risk I would think?

Either way, this was the best episode Hank has had. That’s saying a lot. The depth of range Carrigan has found in the role is unparalleled in the show. The details in his words that reflect feelings of being used, laughed at and not taken seriously in his position pushed him to become a hardened killer. He thought that was what Cristobal wanted and it wound up costing him everything that made him happy. I almost cried when he choked up on the couch.

The feds love making deals, so much of what the FBI does is just catch the little guys and use them as pawns to rat on the bigger guys. Taking down a whole cartel/mob is a bigger deal to the feds than a single killer, even if the killer is noteworthy. He definitely wouldn't be expected to get the same degree of leniency as what he may have received before, but something could still probably be arranged.

This has to be the one episode of Barry with the absolute least amount of Barry screen time, yeah? Literally just those two shots.

I asked "where the fuck is Barry?" at least 5 times during this episode...

Definitely expected him to be behind the front door when Hank walked back inside during the Cristobal scene

The shot of Barry emerging from the darkness in Sally's apartment was really cool and I'm even more excited for Hader's horror project with each passing episode.

I don’t know how I feel about the time jump. Barry is in so deep that it seems impossible to get out, to just skip ahead past all that feels cheap.

that said I think this legit might be the greatest show of all time so I’m gona trust Hader

  19. It’s definitely going to end up in my top 10, maybe top 5.

Even if they time jump forward we could still get flashbacks.

My hope is they spend the next 3 episodes in current timeline and each episode ends with a quick flash forward and then the final episode is everything in between.

I think a total timeline jump for good would be extremely abrupt, but either way, I trust Hader.

The cops raiding the Dave & Busters was an all-time gag for the show. I also loved Gene cutting the bread through the plastic bag.

The time jump is definitely unexpected, but I trust Hader and the rest of the crew to make it work.
