haha reminds me of the Taylor Swift community. every single Friday, they are completely convinced something new is coming, but nothing ever does haha.

 

Don't feel like a massive dork, it's fun mental gymnastics that only happens every number of years surrounding a favorite band.

We'll look back and think of how excited we were and miss it. So I'm just gonna relish in it for now!

I'm not sure if this is allowed, but I wanted to share my artwork with this rad community. I'm 38 and have been a fan of blink since I was 14, and an AbsolutePunk fiend from the get go. And much like all of you, the last two weeks of Coachella have reignited that obsession and I wanted to make an illustration of this comeback. I hope y'all like it... Excuse the watermark, but I've had my work stolen and sold in the past. Not trying to pawn my art, but if anyone digs it enough to want a print, the link to my etsy is in my instagram under the same handle. I hope you all like it. I love this community. blink-182 life. Died at the person saying "mf made patch notes for a bootleg" on Reddit.

I don't think I have any other changes I'd like to make, so that's good. But alas. I'll never understand wanting to be litigious about live audio. The bands, and brands, that have embraced live bootlegs/audio are thriving with it. Oh well, hopefully people that want it got it and it can float around underground for fans.

Agreed... and man... We're Coming Everywhere is freaking genius. Now I'm gonna be upset that that's NOT what it's called.

 

Also find it funny when bands name tours after songs or lyrics, but then don't play that song.

Like, Bayside just did the Just Like Home tour, but didn't play Just Like Home.

Yeah, it's so strange. Especially since media from Coachella is surely only good for the festival.

Agreed. I find it so silly. Like, ok, no video rips I could even get. Then you own it for putting it on YouTube (which they don't do anyway? for some unknown reason) ... but the audio only? It's so dumb.

 

Probably because comedian Tom Segura did a 200+ date "I'm Coming Everywhere" world tour the past couple years. Wonder if they tried and that was too close to steal

 

Maybe "We're Coming All Over the Place?"

 

People were complaining about patch notes? Haha. I feel like that’s pretty common for people to put patch notes on bootlegs they made. Even so it would take 10 seconds to edit it off on a computer. People just suck.

And yeah I don’t understand why you’re getting warned about putting out a free bootleg from a concert that’s not longer available to view or hear.

Again thanks for cutting it up and putting it out there for us. I would have done it (not as well for sure) but I never was able to get a good sounding source.
