that turnstile album is solid, i’d like to see them but i wouldn’t necessarily mind missing them either. i’m going with my wife, her sister + husband, then two other friends and they’ve got absolutely no idea who turnstile is so we will likely just grab dinner and show up right before blink haha

This will absolutely be my most expensive week in show-going history. Taylor on Saturday, Blink on Sunday, Foo Fighters on Wednesday. Could've probably taken an actual vacation (but truthfully, I prefer this.)

 

I promise you all need to see Turnstile live. This is the most serious I've ever been on this website.

I’ve never (at least knowingly) heard a Turnstile song. Not on purpose though. I’ll listen before the show. Sounds like their last album would be a good place to jump in?

Just finished watching the show on my flight. Best flight ever.

Loved hearing Always and STFTK in the set. Always is just so good compared to Down and STFTK is so power packed and perfect in a live setting.

Tom sounds amazing (for Tom) and if I get anything remotely like that for the shows I’m going to then I am going to be so incredibly happy.

I’m going to go ahead and assume that every song they played for Chellahhh is what we’re going to get on tour plus 5 or 6 more songs maybe?

I know this is the Blink thread, but don't sleep on Turnstile. This video is a great indicator of how fucking awesome they are. Stoked to see them live for the first time live next week!

 

Turnstile rips live glad they have gotten the recognition glow on was definitely awesome has been cool seeing them grow huge

this blink-182 essay by Niko Stratis was a big inspiration for mine. highly recommend that one especially.

 

I’m 100% dead inside

 

kind a cool little moment I saw happen was they had production getting set up for the skrillex/four tet/Fred again DJ set and I was standing barrier for that because I am an EDM dude not gonna lie. I was kinda just glancing at them set up and it made me smile because the production team would just stop pull out their phones and then just stand there and record blink 182 and dance around and stuff. It just had me smiling.
