I know he’s a good striker and a diehard Arsenal fan who still follows us, but I don’t know if he is the right profile for us tbh. He plays in a way that I don’t think would necessarily suit us.

 

Think he’d do well in our team.

Seeing reports that Paratici has met with Will Still. So much for that leave of absence from Spurs?

 

Really think Will Still should either stick to Reims or take on a "lower" job in the Premier League before he even attempts to take on a job the size of Spurs. I reckon if he went straight to Spurs he'd have his work cut out pretty quickly. He'd be a less experienced Potter in my view.

@Nick Do you know much about this player? The little bit I've read, seems like it'd be a nice get for us.

 

Yeah he’s very good. Was a really highly rated youth player with City but could never take that step up. Great control and a good boot. One of the best players in the LOI and got a few caps because of his form in the league back in 2019. He’s never really kicked on at any clubs outside of Ireland due to a number of reasons, think there were some personal issues that he had when he was in the lower leagues in England. Basically LOI is around League One/League Two level and he’s one of the best players in the LOI, he really should be playing in England but yeah that flamed out. If he’s gotten his head down and performs how he can should be a good player in MLS.

 

His profile/skillset sounds like something we've been missing. So hopefully it goes through.
