I personally don't see the point. I know people are gonna talk to them, and I can't avoid seeing the replies, so it really serves no purpose. It just doesn't work the way it does like on social media because well, the whole point of a message board is back and forth conversation and you can't really avoid people responding to the person you don't want to be in contact with.

Also I was never really the type to just say fuck it unless the person is being particularly harmful, abusive, discriminatory, etc, and consistently and aggressively so. I really would rather try to work things out. If they don't want to however, then that's on them.

 

I've never blocked anyone but if anyone blocked me for excessive exclamation points and abbreviations I'd be like yep sounds about right

So I came to see my parents before my date. They live 40 min away but I drive like a bat out of hell so I can get here in 30. My mom asked me to help her flip their bigass mattress. She screamed and I thought she hurt herself. My dad sleeps with a handgun under the mattress on his side. She was freaking like the gun was gonna go of and kill us. I showed her the safety was on so she brought her voice level down a bit.

She said did you know and I was like yeah and then she asked me if it was loaded and I said duh, why would he have it within reach if it wasn't loaded. Then she smacked me on the hand that I was holding the gun in. She's an idiot sometimes. NOW SHE'S PISSED AT ME. Like what the fuck.
