disloyal is my favorite opener from the band and also probably my favorite song from them. thnks and headfirst comes close though. theres this overwhelming air of importance that just radiates through those songs

 

I have listened to this record an unhealthy amount of times since March 24th. It's so god damn good. More than I ever expected.

 

Listening to Save Rock N Roll on Apple Music and Courtney Love is entirely absent from the bridge of Rat A Tat?? When did that happen??

Alone Together, no contest. I still remember my first album listen in the bus on the way to high school, and the grin I had on my face when the chorus hit, then even more when the post chorus with the children back ups came on. That hook is so infectious. It felt like the biggest pop song ever and despite the mixed reception their new direction was getting on ap.net at the time, there was no doubt in my mind they had crushed it.

Miss Missing You is one of their best songs in general. Alone Together is a jam as well.

Also, I really like Save Rock and Roll as a whole.

No idea. Dolby Atmos is trash for pretty much all of FOB's songs. Missing parts, muddy mixes, etc.

 

The Big Sean verse being so corny is WHY I like it. You don’t tune into a Fall Out Boy song expecting high caliber bars.
The riff on Mighty Fall also rips.

 

I noticed this listening to IOH the other day. It’s so, so bad on DA.

 

Are you listening on Atmos certified speakers/headphones? (I turn it off even on the headphones it’s made for, but without it you’d be sorta like missing channels of the mix.)

Yes, the arrangement of the bridge of the song is just totally different.

 

One of many reasons I’ve turned those mixes off completely. Feel like they are removed from what the artists intend.
