Yeah, but Tuchel’s Bayern are being pissed about by City

Cancelo leaving for more minutes (and being an ass on the way out) only to come on as a sub for the final ten minutes is just *chef's kiss*

Dodgy penalty given by Michael Oliver of course.

Are we *absolutely* sure Upamecano isn't a double agent? Pretty much the only explanation for his passing tonight

Nah, he’s just absolutely terrified of England. Had a nightmare against us for Leipzig.

City will win the CL this year. It has to be their year.

I sort of think unless Bellingham has emotional ties to Liverpool, he’d have to be really mad to choose there right now. They likely won’t be in the CL, and there’s no guarantee they’ll qualify for it next year given you’ve got City, Arsenal, United, Chelsea, Newcastle, and Spurs.

Anyone looking for a fun podcast should check out Fit And Proper, where comedians take over a football club and make whatever changes they want.

Particular highlights are Tom Rosenthal taking over Oxford and making it Harry Potter themed, Rob Becket turning Arsenal into Millwall, and Alfie Brown signing Tubes from Soccer AM and making Blackpool FC into a a cesspit for stag dos “in tribute to the town”.

You have just put the possibility of Bellingham to Newcastle in my head and hoooo boy

He was a fan I think and Gerrard was his favourite player. Not that that’s ever made much of a difference for a professional.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

I would be amazed if he wanted to come to Newcastle currently and even more amazed if we'd stump up the cash to do it. Our squad depth is still pretty iffy and we've not really gone crazy splashing the cash so far. Assuming we're going into Europe next season, we can't blow £100m+ on one player when we need to bulk up the squad to handle a significant increase in games. Tbh, anyone joining Newcastle as an obvious CL team right now sounds like a maniac to me. Bellingham is far too good to join a club which just has potential right now.

This year has been amazing, but it's going to take something pretty special (in terms of recruitment and performance) for us just to maintain this league form next year.

I've read that Bellingham isn't interested in joining an "oil club" but more so a club with "tradition". I'm not sure how much truth is in those reports but yeah.

To touch on the sale of United, the Glazers are absolutely playing with fire if this thing drags on much longer. If we get into May without a new owner I think you could start seeing protests above and beyond what you saw with the Super League fiasco.

Please don’t let him go to City. I beg.

Yeah I read similar about him wanting Real over City because of that. I think he’ll stay this summer and end up at City or Liverpool next summer.

Seems the sale won’t be done until after the season finishes if at all. Which is worst case scenario.

Bellingham is obviously going to Madrid to replace Kroos and Modric

Ya, I think Madrid is most likely too.
