I wished I liked more music. Since I listen to a lot of pop, ppl assume I'm a sheep and will listen to any pop music lmao but I dislike and complain about most of it. I listen to a lot of genres but within those genres tend to stick to only like a handful of artists.

 

kinda related "what's your favorite band or movie or whatever?" is always such a stressful question for me because I feel like I need a cool answer that they won't laugh at and will respect

 

I just be straight up with it, toe and Kung Pow: LoF.

I used to feel that way but tbh all the music snobs I encounter have the weirdest taste. Idk what I ever expect their taste to be like but I always expect something really cool and then they hit me with a random nu metal band or something.

They have changed sounds a lot over the years though, Tell All Your Friends is nothing like Tidal Wave. Do you not like one style or everything they have ever done?

FF6 soundtrack is fantastic and I could see the argument that it's better, but 7 is no where near mediocre. I think you meant classic and super memorable

 

I've heard Tell All Your Friends a few times and I just couldn't get into that. I saw them live at Taste of Chaos (I went to see basically every band other than them) and I watched their set with an open mind but I wasn't really into them there either. Can't say exactly what it is but they've just never left an impression with me.

100% agree, if only just for Kefka's theme.

Although Chrono Cross blows all other OST's out of the water.

 

I feel like I should be more specific: FF7 soundtrack is mediocre in terms of Final Fantasy soundtracks hahaha, not in general

 

Yeah I'm not counting CT/CC in the discussion, or Kingdom Hearts of course, strictly FF. But yeah I could see that and could agree with it

The ones before 7? I can see that. 7 blows everything after 9 out of the water. FF has sucked for years.
