Don’t sleep on this album it’s even better than I initially thought and I already really liked it

 

Returning to that Jehst record from a couple months back. Tough to compete with a few other fantastic records under his belt but I think he made something pretty great again with this one. One Horse Town is so damn good

 

Jehst has one of the best discographies of any rapper and yet is still incredibly underrated, especially on that side of the pond.

Yeah I haven’t heard all of his records, but Return Of The Drifter goes off the whole way through. His last one was really solid too

 

It is a crime that drive me crazy on the yachty record does not have more than one chorus and I hope to one day sue him over it. That is all

I listened to the "new" Greedo earlier and loved it... and then realized it was the one from earlier this year and not the newest one. Now I have 33 more tracks to look forward too lol.

Anyways, these two tracks (from the January release) are REALLY good

My coworker told me to check out this album so that’s what I’m doing right now.

 

I recently listened to the KMD albums for the first time and thought they were really cool

 

Mr. Hood is great, have never listened to the other one

 

I recently re-listened to the Goldlink albums and it feels disappointing because his first few albums I love but his most recent is a mess to me. Goldlink was one of those artist I wanted to work with Kaytranda for an album because he usually brings out the best in people.

the IDK/Kaytranda project had the best beats but like IDK is very meh like his features carried on their songs lol.

 

early Goldlink is great. I didn't love the most recent either but I do think there are a couple great songs on there.

Yeah I fuck with those tracks for sure. Never listened to that project tbh. A lot of Greedo’s projects while he was locked up weren’t really hitting for me but this new one is so good. You would think at 33 tracks that you would really feel that length but honestly there’s so much heat on there that it’s easy to just keep running it back. Dude is sooo good at what he does, I just can’t believe he kept up that consistency for 33 tracks on his first release since getting out. I thought for sure it would feel thrown together but it does not at all. Probably only like 3 tracks I don’t really care for.
