I remember having to load/reload so many times to steal the 3% Golden Axe for Alfyn in the first one lol

 

So after playing through almost all of the chapter two's this is where I stand.

Throné > Ochette > Hikari > Temenos > Castti > Partitio > Osvald >>> Agnea

Hikari, Castti, Ochette, and Throné were my OG party, I like the Temenos storyline a lot so far, Partitio is fun from a character personality standpoint, Osvald is cool but I think playing through both chapters at the same time has made him less memorable for me, and Agnea is easily the worst character.

 

Agnes’s story comes around in a big way

 

Yeah Agnea's gets pretty intense. Some of the others get dark as hell too, like darker than anything in the first one

I just started using the optimize all function for my party, prior to venturing out, and now I'm wondering why I wasn't using this before. I've been doing some manual swapping of equipment but had no clue optimizing all would undress the party members you are leaving behind and give that equipment to active party members.

 

it's a very useful feature. if you intend on doing the final/secret bosses, I would encourage you to have enough gear to fully equip all 8 members since you'll need all 8 of them

 

And to clarify I knew optimizing characters and parties were a thing, but I did not know that at a tavern optimizing all meant completely unequipping the inactive party members, except for accessories.

 

Wasn't able to play last week but getting back into it with all the lvl 45 chapters now. Finished Hikari and took him out of my party finally. How the heck do you do damage without him? I struggled so hard on Ochette's last chapter without him. It was nice to finally have a boss fight last longer than 3 minutes though.

 

He's definitely a beast, but Osvald, Throne, and Temenos will rival his damage output with the right setup.

 

Ughh I'm so over levelled again. The first few last bosses were tough but now I'm back to stomping them as the party is way over the recommended level.

 

How far are you? There's always a boss fight that will humble you out of nowhere lol

 

I have Osvald, Agnea, and Partitio's final chapters left to do. And then all kinds of extra dungeons and places I've purposely been ignoring because it keeps levelling me up too fast.

But yeah I know there's still a lot to do after.

 

Hm I don't recall any of those final bosses giving me issues. Partitio's Ch 3 boss was way more annoying than his final boss. I think the only final ones that game me trouble were Ochette's and Castti's.

 

Yeah Ochette's got me in trouble before the actual boss part because somehow I got all 4 of my members in some unconscious cycle so I could never do anything. It took 10 minutes of me just watching the screen waiting for my party to die lol.

 

her boss sucked because he puts the whole party at 1 HP after a certain amount of time

 

can’t get enough so I’m playing triangle strategy and am probably gonna get back to bravely default 2 sooner rather than later. team asano for life.

 

I will play literally anything in HD2D

 

Even the more 3D models in bravely default 2 feels very distinctly their style especially the city designs it reminded me a lot of octopath

 

Very excited for Dragon Quest 3 HD2D.

About to do what I think is the final boss of the game (I think there's still the "secret" final boss too). Have loved the game to death but my god is was so easy. At no point have I felt like I needed to grind, yet I'm smashing every boss in a few turns. I really hope I'm about to get humbled here lol.
