I highly recommend Michigander - It Will Never Be The Same EP.

I discovered them through the song, In My Head, which is a collaboration with Manchester Orchestra.

Already downloaded City and Colour, Classic Crime, and Andrew McMahon. Will listen to those later as well as Boygenius. Finally a busy week of music.

Quite a lot on the radar today. Nothing I am massively hyped about, but hopefully one will take me by surprise!

    - City and Colour
    - boygenius
    - Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness
    - LIES
    - Charlie Cunningham

boygenius is obviously the big one today, but don’t sleep on the Mighty Poplar record. It’s Andrew Marlin from Watchhouse with two of the Punch Brothers, the fiddler from Billy Strings and bassist from Leftover Salmon.

Wild Child - End of the World
RIYL funk influenced folk/rock. I love how they make groovy tracks that blend nostalgia with modernity. I think it’s just upbeat fun. I recommend their singers side project Sir Woman if you like Wild Child.

I’ll also be listening to boygenius, Andrew McMahon, The Hold Steady, The Classic Crime, City and Color, etc. it’s a great release day!

I grabbed mine from someone in the UK back in 2020 for 175 GBP. It looks like it's gone up a bit since then. I feel most listinrs are UK/EU whener they go up.

A few weeks prior to that I grabbed the ISIS box set off a local guy My wife wasn't thrilled I dropped close to a grand on box sets, but yah know; Pandemic buying...

New classic crime isn't life changing but it's pretty damn good and I think one of their most complete albums
