  2. I don’t love it as a whole. There’s more songs that I like on that album than all the post hiatus FOB albums combined though, barring this new one since I haven’t heard it yet. But FOB’s last few albums and FOAM are also completely different styles so they can’t even be compared. I prefer Green Day’s musical style over Fall Out Boy’s though, hands down. Especially FOB’s post reunion albums. Mania is the worst offender of the type of pop music that I absolutely can’t stand.

There’s not a single good song on FOAM. All the post hiatus FOB albums are good.

  4. Different strokes for different folks I guess. I don’t care. Ha. You guys bring up FOAM way more than I do soooo…

I would agree if I liked SRAR or AB/AP but I only enjoyed a few tracks off those records and even the ones I enjoyed paled in comparison to anything off the records that came before it.

At least you didn’t include Folie in that statement as that’s their best record to date :)

    “I care”

please read as Luke Skywalker in A New Hope near the end when they are on the Falcon. Leia and Han finish talking and as she walks away in a huff about Han only caring for himself, Luke walks up and blurts out “I care” because he wants to be more than friends, even though it’s his sister. He doesn’t know it at the time, but retroactively Leia somehow does.

SRAR is very good. AB/AP is good.

Hm… I also heavily lean post-hiatus, but I can’t quite co-sign this. AB/AP really didn’t do anything for me personally; definitely would put IOH above it.

I would take certain FOB records over other certain FOB records, but not over that FOB record. And I can’t forget good old reliable FO. record.

I've just never been huge on Infinity for some reason. I think there's 3-4 GREAT songs, but the rest I either don't care about or just don't like all that much.

Fair. I don’t know what percentage of the songs I actually go back to, but the highs and the general bigness of the sound are fun. It’s the album cycle when I got into the band (since I wasn’t actively a pop punk person in my teens).

Maybe someday I’ll give AB/AP another shot, but I just remember most of it leaving me cold, especially after SRAR. Doesn’t help that MANIA has a lot more highs that really sing, and this new one gets very close to how SRAR made me feel at the time, lol.

IOH has Thriller, which is one of the best ever FOB songs.

That is one of the ones I'd consider great

Thriller is pretty easily a top 5 FOB song for me

  22. “Hum Hallelujah” rules. And it’s the same chords as “Sugar.”

AB/AP is around when I got into the band, so similar situations lol

Ehhh I never listen to the record because it’s quite forgettable to me. I enjoy a few tracks of it like My Songs, Alone Together, and Young Volcanos but Stardust blows it out of the water. I enjoyed AB/AP more than SRAR and I still hate half of that record too lol

If you felt the same as I did about SRAR/ABAP/MANIA and loved the band growing up - you would probably question if the glory days were behind them js
