So Good Right Now is also my least favorite. It gives me Jonas Brothers vibes.

 

So Good Right Now is my favorite and sounds like it would be right at home on FOAM

It's hard to pick my least favourite. I've listened to this a bunch and no track is really standing out as the least, but if I had to pick one it'd be Flu Game but I really dig all of them

I just can't get enough of this

 

I still need to listen to this. Can’t wait til I can use my headphones again and dive into it.

The way Pat sings those verses is just *chef's kiss*

all I know is Kintsugi Kid is my favourite, it's topped by absolutely nothing, nothing, na na na NAAA na na na na na

 

That soft spongy stuff they make balls and mattresses out of.

 

top 5 is Fake Out/What a Time To Be Alive/Heaven, Iowa/Love From The Other Side/So Much (For) Stardust. I don’t really love the verses of Kintsugi Kid (the chorus is very good tho and the instrumental break before the final verse is an album highlight), and I Am My Own Muse feels a little too Disney villain/Tim Burton-y for my taste tho it has its moments and it’s well done for what it is. so those 2 are my least favorites at the moment. I get people’s gripes with So Good Right Now, and I think in any other hands I would absolutely loathe it, but something about it works for me and it’s such a brief little song that by the time it gets close to wearing out its welcome for me it’s over.

honestly tho even the songs I have some gripes with aren’t skips for me, at least yet, so thats a major point in this record’s favor.

 

If I could change one thing about this album it would be for the choral part at the very end of the title track to go another 30-60 seconds.

 

Maaaaaaan. I am just so very impressed with this.

Just thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. Very excited to see them at Wrigley. Hope we get a healthy dose from this record.

 

The guitar solo in What a Time to Be Alive sounds so blissful. The whole song is a bleak dance party.

 

I hope they play the whole album. I doubt they will, but that’d be sick. I’m guessing 6-8 songs from the album.

I was just looking at tickets for that show, kind of want to see the set list before taking the plunge

 

Dammit now seeing it’s the first date

 

Fake out is just too much fun. That chorus really does it for me.

And then there is something so satisfying about knowing Heaven, Iowa is coming up next.
