I would trade Tool and Turnstile just to have some tiktokers and a poet in there

 

Aftershock really built themselves up these last few years

 

Need a full tour of this.

Edit: Apparently it's a new full tour, but only two with TSL. I need TSL in OKC.

kind of a new thing; new management recently seems to be putting them at more festivals than they usually did before.

 

I just don't understand how The Lumineers keep headlining festivals. I don't think I've heard a song of theirs in 10 years and I don't know anyone who calls themselves a fan.

 

They've found their way on a few more rock-leading festivals in recent years. This actually isn’t their first time playing Aftershock, believe it or not

 

They are quietly a huge band. They did 2x at Forest Hills last year and have a Jones Beach show that in Aug that is basically (legitimately) sold out already.

 

I was surprised they sold out Wrigley Field in Chicago last year. They put a nice show, ngl.

 

my wife made me go see them years ago and they seem to be a “hangout band” people there aren’t necessarily super into them but they go and listen and hang with their friends.

 

Man tower gets so many shows now.

 

That’s what I noticed as well. Example I always use is if you ever came across someone on a dating app who “LOVES all live music”, they most likely mean stuff like The Lumineers.

When people start calling stuff that was popular in 2008-11 a "throwback", that's how I know I am old as fuck.

 

15 years ago is a pretty significant chunk of time, ha. Next year is my 20 year high school reunion, soooo I feel you on feeling old as fuck.
