Anyone order from the Sherwood's website recently? It's been 10 days and I haven't heard anything about my order shipping, but I assume it's just the dude running it himself.

 

This is still my favorite thing in my collection. The whole package is put together so nicely and the records themselves are so pretty.

 

My TOYPAJ is a 2xLP with the bonus tracks on the D side. I didn't know there was a version with separate 7"s. That is pretty cool but I think I would get tired of changing records haha

 

What you have would be ideal for me. But I don’t even want to look to see how pricey that variant is now.

Whaaaaat- where is this info and when do I need to have my calendar blocked to purchase? Ha. Would be so cool to have on wax.

 

I highly recommend Luca Brasi. They're from Tasmania and their 2021 album "Everything is Tenuous" is sheer brilliance. Not one bad track.

If you dig Jimmy Eat World you'll dig this album. The first two songs are worth the ticket alone!

I always think, should I put my deluxe sets / smaller box sets in with everything else... A mindless project for the evening perhaps?

Never thought the day would come

 

All mine are separate. I think the spines look nicer that way. I do struggle with 3 lps though. I never know if I should put those with the boxes or not.

 

my logic is that it's more convenient to have everything together just so i can grab something in release order (although i separate my 10 and 7 inches from my 12 inches). i don't mind a thicker spine sticking out compared to a standard sleeve or gatefold.

 

Yeah I've got my 8 10"s at the end between "Z"and the sets and my 7"s in a little crate from Homesense (aka Homegoods to you fine Americans).

 

Yeah the single lp deluxe packaging always throw me off. I've got them with my box sets.

Also albums like Mellon Collie and Stadium Arcadium are with my sets even though they are albums... But my Outkast "ATLiens" 3lp set is with my regular lps...I'm starting to think I've got a job this evening.

at least your Kalax units are consistent. picked up a second when i moved (since i coincidentally ran out of room at the same time), only to find out IKEA discontinued the light walnut color, haha.

also love seeing Sleep Token on the table.

 

Alright most of the sets are in with the regular lps. Took a full Sleep Token and half A Tom Petty album to re-arrange and it seems I've lost space during the reshuffle.

I've been under the weather the last 24 hours and that took a lot out of me. I need to lay down haha.

 

Well there is a slight high difference as the shelf that the set up rests on is actually the Expedite (the old model before Kallax). My friend offered a trade. A 8 square expedite for one of my 4 square Kallax. I happily obliged.

I did a run through Sundowning and TPWBYT. I'm stoked for the new album, it's going to blow them up! I also wish I had the Sundowning box set. They were available when I discovered the band right at the beginning of the pandemic but they're long gone and someone spent over a grand on a set. I also noticed their Spinefarm merch site shows the box again! I'm hoping there's a restock, unless I missed it. :(

Same buddy that swapped units with me just recently dropped over $250 CDN on the Sand and Sea variant of "Tomb", I am very jealous.

yeah, not picking up the first 2 albums when my partner introduced me to them a couple years ago is definitely a big regret (although it took a bit for Tomb to grow on me)
