Asian man and a-f records are the last vestiges of the old days regarding vinyl records. The absolute best places to order from.

 

I felt like I remembered him saying he needed STS. I wasn’t sure though.

Those shops might have jumped the gun too early on those STS pre-orders - I think we are getting multiple variants and I would expect that black/red pinwheel to be the indie store exclusive

 

I’m assuming the announcement will be tomorrow since the album anniversary is March 11 (can’t see a Saturday announcement)

Be careful as a lot of shops just got in boots of Crimson and Good Mourning

 

Yeah same / love the variant from the shops but I think that’s why there are so many dead links - probably not meant to be live yet

 

I knew they’d eventually re-press this - too much money to be made

 

Wait i’m confused, is it imminent we’re getting Good Mourning and Crimson?

 

Only if vagrant is re-pressing as part of their 25 anniversary thing - I have been seeing boots of these in shops

 

I saw STS at my local record shop last week, but it was $40 so I declined (and then bought The Used S/T for $40...)

 

The boot is going for like, $85-100 right now. Well, it was.

 

Does anyone have an official pressing of Crimson that isn't from the 180g run in 2017? If so, how's the sound quality?

 

I have a green variant from the cobra side 2009 press I think - it sounds fine

 

Looks like the STS re-press is totaling 20k haha

 

I got those 2017 180g represses of FHTI, Good Mourning and Crimson.

I can definitely say Crimson sounds very quiet and lifeless. Even after spinning it earlier in the week I thought about selling it!

I should dust off the other two and revisit.

"Dear y’all. First things first. We will have more copies of the record up for sale on Monday at 12:01AM Pacific. There are zero problems with the existing pre-orders. A few hours after being told we could put up pre-orders we and every other store were asked to take down any posts on social media and stop taking pre-orders until Monday. It appears to be a matter of someone somewhere having their wires crossed on the official announcement date. To me, the toothpaste is out of the tube and there’s no going back but I’m not in charge. Literally everything is fine with the records, the release date, everything. We just all need to pretend we didn’t hear this was happening until Monday morning and then the pre-orders can resume! Thank you for your patience with this one and your orders!"
